The realism in this book makes it that much more interesting. The author did an outstanding job in writing this wonderful novel. The book really applies to teenage life today. I particularly liked this books plot, setting, and characters. Tyler was once a nerd then, he was forced to work with the custodial staff for mandatory community service. How would you feel if your life was flipped upside down? This is exactly what happened to Tyler, but this happened to Tyler when he was busted for graffiti.
